So many times when Laura came in to see us at Dr Kristine Burke's office she would almost always make us laugh until we cried. Her stories were the best and her smile was contagious. This went on right to the end. Laura on several occasions would tell me , oh I wish we were neighbors Pam so we could just sit and have a cup of coffee and chat. I wished we were neighbors too. The morning I heard of her passing I was having a cup of coffee and raised it up and said, Now Lets Have That Cup Of Coffee My Friend. Yes Laura was our patient, but more than that our friend. I will miss you Laura. I always said Laura was my favorite patient and Laura would say, no you say that to everyone. No Laura you were are still are my favorite patient. You live in my heart now and I am so much richer to have gotten to know such a gentle sweet women. Until we meet again my friend. Put the coffee on.
